This is my second tattoo. I chose to get a cat silhouette inside of a vintage picture frame with a single sunflower at the bottom because it incorporated the 3 things I hold close to my heart, my love for cat, photography, and sunflowers. This piece was also inspired by my mom because she also loves the same things I do and I always want her to be a part of my life no matter how far away from home I go. She is my best friend and my hero. I got my tattoo done my Phil at Atomic Tattoo in Brandon, FL. He was an amazing artist who truly captured the idea I had in mind. :]

I got this two days ago at Bambu in Providence, RI. Chris Evans did it. It’s my second tattoo. People have been asking me why I got the compass…and I’ve been telling them that I previously had surgery where they had to insert magnets into my left hand fingers..so I’m actually like a real life human compass, and I’m always naturally pointing North because of that. You’d be surprised how many people believed me. Kinda funny. Anyways, I got it to remind me that on hard days, I’m actually going somewhere. The whole, going in the right direction theme and whatnot. I got the idea on tumblr, actually, (tumblr is the only reason I’m cool..all my friends think i’m original…most of it just comes from tumblr) it’s really similar to something I saw on here a while ago, and I kind of copied it. I’m really happy with how it came out, though.

This tattoo I’ve wanted for awhile. The Swallow on the far left was the first tattoo I got last spring, and I love it to death. I had originally wanted more than one Swallow, but since it was my first tattoo I didn’t really know what to expect. So for my 18th birthday I decided to get more birds but I also wanted something that would resemble my love for photography. I didn’t want it to be obvious, so I opted for an antique picture frame that sort of looks like a mirror and some silhouetted Swallows.            I got this tattoo for myself and not really for anyone else to understand completely. I love tattoos; I think they’re beautiful, so I wanted something that would display my love for art in a more artistic way. The tattoo took around an hour, and was done by Colin McClain at Skinquake in Bloomington, IN. I love it a lot, he did a really amazing job.

this was my first tattoo, i got it done at bill’s tattoo and piercing shop in pace Florida. it says “ curiouser and curiouser” it is a quote from Alice in wonderland. the story behind it is when i was young my sister would read me Alice in wonderland then she went into the navy when i was 5 and this is the only childhood memory i can remember with her.  It was my 15th birthday present to my self.

I know this tattoo is not art or anything, it is my own drunk hand writing and I got it after 4 days of hardcore drinking and no sleep at all in Berlin. This tattoo is pretty ironic because I’m not this down to earth, chilled hippie kind of person who tries to spread wisdom and good vibes, Im actually the biggest drama queen ever and I often tend to forget to see life from the bright side. However, even though my tattoo is as an obvious joke about my personality, it is also some kind of tribute to my father. We don’t get along well but I love and admire him very much. He is a musician and made an album once called “Keep Smiling”. Listening to this album always fills me up with so much joy and so many memories from my childhood. The tattoo is like my little eternal piece of that and I absolutely love it.
